About this opportunity
Opportunity Overview
CORMAC is hiring a Public Health Administrator to work 100% remotely from Leesburg, Virginia. This full-time role sits at the intersection of education and medical administration, making it a fit for someone who understands public health systems and can manage the operational side of health programs. The position was posted recently and is open now. CORMAC is a professional services firm that supports federal, state, and local government agencies, with a strong focus on health and human services programs. The company builds and manages systems that deliver public health services, from disease prevention to community health education. Working here means you are part of a team that handles real government contracts, so the work tends to be structured, compliance-heavy, and mission-driven. Their clients rely on them to keep programs running smoothly, which is exactly what a Public Health Administrator does day to day. Leesburg sits in Northern Virginia, about 35 miles west of Washington, D.C. The area has a high cost of living, with rents and home prices well above the national average, but it also offers strong public schools and easy access to the D.C. metro job market. Since this role is fully remote, you do not need to relocate to Leesburg, though you should be comfortable working Eastern Time hours. Virginia has no state income tax on military pensions, and the broader region is a hub for government contracting, so networking opportunities in public health and policy are plentiful. This role is best suited for someone with a background in public health administration, health education, or a related field. If you have experience managing health programs, coordinating with medical staff, or handling compliance and reporting, this could be a strong match. The remote setup means you need to be self-directed and organized, since you will not have a supervisor looking over your shoulder.
